This is a great place for a convenient weekend dive trip both for just getting wet or dive training. Located only 20 minutes from Ft. Lauderdale airport South Florida Diving Headquarters is one of the top dive operations in south Florida. Nested in a marina with both Hotel and Dive shop the beach and restaurants all within a short walking distance.
Key Largo is the home of Conch Republic Divers and is a great place to dive and, an even better place to take a rebreather course. Hotels and restaurants are plentiful and you can't beat the atmosphere. The diving is world class and it's a rare occasion the weather is any thing but good!
This trip can also be combined with a CCR Mixed Gas, OC Trimix, CCR Advance Mixed Gas, OC Advanced Trimix course. I've been running this trip for several years now and even if the weather keeps us at the dock more often than we'd like, it's always a week of fun. The E.M. Clark at a depth of 230' is one of the last truly intact wrecks from WWII, but it's not going to stay that way much longer. So, the plan is to head to the Clark on a daily basis to capture as much of this magnificence wreck as possible on video. If the weather or currents are not conducive to diving the Clark we'll head to an alternative dive site. Trip cost is $1,400. and includes house and boat fees.
