In recent years it's become more and more apparent for the need to train non-commercial divers such as public safety and scientific divers in the use of surface supplied air diving equipment utilizing full facemasks and demand type diving helmets. Dan Crowell and TDI have worked closely to develop this new specialty course designed to meet these rising needs. The course is designed to instruct existing public safety or scientific divers in the basic use of surface supplied equipment utilizing a full facemask or demand type diving helmet for purposes of public safety, law enforcement and scientific research. Dive training is a key element in anyone’s dive career to further your

take the place of experience nor can experience take the place of formal
training. It takes a good healthy dose of both to make a competent diver.
